Port Credit Royal Canadian Legion
About This Spot
Stepping into the Port Credit Royal Canadian Legion feels like walking into a cherished gathering place where the rhythm of the community pulses quietly but unmistakably. Nestled in the heart of Port Credit, this bar offers a welcoming refuge from the everyday, blending casual comfort with a steady hum of friendly conversation and laughter. The pace is unhurried, inviting guests to settle in, whether for a relaxing evening or an eventful night filled with local flair.
The atmosphere is warm and familiar, shaped by a mix of longtime locals and newcomers drawn by the Legion’s easy spirit. Inside, the room offers ample space without feeling cavernous, giving way to lively weekends where live music sets a bright and engaging backdrop. There’s a genuine sense of connection here, whether you're gathered around dartboards, tapping your foot to a well-loved band, or simply enjoying a quiet drink with friends.
Food and drinks become part of the story rather than the centerpiece—comfort-driven, hearty fare complements a straightforward menu that feels approachable and satisfying. It’s the kind of place where sharing a meal becomes a shared moment, whether it’s a plate that surprises with familiar twists or a cold beer enjoyed in good company.
What truly sets this spot apart is the spirit of the people who fill it. The hosts and staff move with easy warmth, and there’s a palpable pride in hosting local bands and community dances that keep the calendar lively and inviting. It’s a place to come as you are, to enjoy an evening that’s as much about the atmosphere and the local vibe as it is about the night’s food and drink offerings.
Whether you’re a Port Credit resident or passing through, this bar offers a grounded, approachable window into the neighborhood’s social heartbeat—a place where good company and simple pleasures make every visit feel like coming home.

Amazing food and drinks!! I had the poutine burger and it was delicious!! The people are friendly and welcoming. Lots of local bands and dances are held at the Legion. Great location in the heart of Port Credit. I highly recommend them!!

This place won’t disappoint. Lived in Port Credit all my life and this is an inexpensive, casual place for entertainment, food and drinks. Friendly atmosphere.

Was there for a friends Birthday. Lots of fun. Great band: Karen and the Hayters, good vibe. Drinks are quite reasonable.

Really well maintained. They have a fish n chips special on Fridays but sell out quickly. Huge poppy out front to remind you of the sacrifices made by local Port Creditans.

My son and I went there for a celebration of life. Food was decent and didn't cost an arm and a leg to buy. Drinks were cheap. They have a few bigger separate rooms so they can entertain a few venues. I didn't ask for prices to rent said rooms but I believe they don't cost alot either..
